About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Endoscopy Vale of Leven General Hospital / Surgical Day Bed Unit

(as the patient),

I went for a colonoscopy at the Vale of Leven General Hospital. The nurse who admitted me introduced herself was friendly, considerate, listened and understood my fears, explained the procedure in detail and gave me time to process  and ask any questions. 

Any fears I had were soon diminished by the kindness and empathy and reassurance shown by every member of the nursing and medical team, I felt safe and reassured.

The staff are a credit to their profession, the Vale of Leven Hospital and The NHS. Sincere thanks to each and everyone of you.
