"I am now cancer free and am heading home!"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Oncology Oncology / Physical Activity Classes Royal Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I became very suddenly unwell and was rushed to a and e. There they realised I had a perforation and an obstruction in my bowel as well as acute myeloid leukaemia and bone marrow cancer. It was all such a shock.

I got transferred to the city and the treatment I received has been amazing.

I am now cancer free and am heading home!
