(as the patient),

I recently went in to have a total hip replacement on my left hip.  The staff on Ward 1 were very friendly and approachable even though they were probably quite busy.

After my husband dropped me off the staff kindly took me through to my bed and let me know what would happen next. They kept me in touch all the way through of my progress and what would happen next. 

To the nurses and doctors to the porters, all the surgical staff, Physios  and X ray staff  I salute you all!!  You are all so lovely and friendly and are doing a fantastic job. Thank you all again for making my time with you so lovely!!   My main nurse Queen is so lovely!!

Thank you for these comments which are really morale boosters and the staff will be thrilled to read them, especially Queen. I will share with the physio staff and the X Ray staff as well as our team.

I am so pleased, as Matron of the unit, to read that you had such a good patient experience all the way through as that we strive to achieve, and from your amazing comments, we are getting it right
