"Post operation support"

About: Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy - Outpatient Hand Service

(as a service user),

Following a Dupuytren’s operation in late 2023 I was referred by my local GP for follow-up support.

I’ve had two appointments with Asma and they have been hugely helpful and beneficial. From the start she showed a real commitment to helping me achieve the best result possible. She was positive, patient and encouraging in giving me a number of exercises to perform and advice on scar tissue management.

At my second appointment she seemed genuinely pleased at my progress and gave me clear advice on how to continue care in the future.

Altogether a very positive experience. Many thanks to Asma.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. I am delighted to hear about your positive experience and the care and treatment you received. Your feedback will get straight back to the staff member directly involved, Asma and to the wider team.

We are always looking at ways to improve patients' journey and our services and cant do this without valuable feedback so thanks again.
