About: Health Visiting / Breastfeeding Team

(as a service user),

Breast feeding club, East Kilbride.

Great club, fantastic support, well run. 

Engaging and empathetic staff.

Extra visitors e.g paramedics for CPR training, support staff for baby massage, student trainees - welcomed as they add so much to the club.

Needed the support over the last few weeks and has really helped to stabilise mental health, helps to feel part of the community.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback; it's wonderful to hear that the Breastfeeding Group in East Kilbride has had such a positive impact on you and your little one.

The team who run the group strive to make it as welcoming and supportive as they can and I think this demonstrates that.

Dear "Breastfeeding mama"

My apologies in the delay in getting back to you – we have only just been able to access your story but are thrilled to receive this.

As Team Leader for the East Kilbride Health visiting team it is rewarding to hear such a positive story. Staff who run this group are passionate about supporting breastfeeding mothers and are delighted that this group was able to offer such valuable support.

Sharing your story also highlights how beneficial Breastfeeding groups can be for advice and support for other mums.
