On the prescribing side of things I think you should make methadone defunct as its easily diverted and not as good as some of the other alternatives.

This reflects your personal opinion, there are other services users who might disagree and benefit from physeptone. You are right, people do divert there medications both those prescribed by Inclusion and by GP's. I would strongly urge that if anyone has knowledge of this, to come forward in confidence and report it.

It is good practice to have a variety of medications so that our medical staff can prescribe after assessment the most appropriate for the individual.

However there are knew innovations in the treatment of addictions being brought forward all the time. So I guess we all need to watch this space
