"Course and tutors are brilliant"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Nottingham Recovery College

(as a service user),

Recovery College should be renamed How to Adult, before I began attending courses I felt like 3 children in a trench coat trying to bumble through life, now I am utilising the skills I have learnt and I'm slowly building my own emotional survival toolkit.

Having tutors that are former students is brilliant, it is a living example the courses are effective, they are not afraid to share their own safe for work experiences and how course tools helps. They also share that they are still learning too.

Recovery College courses should be more widely available, allowing access to those not currently in mental health services as a preventive treatment would benefit many people and could prevent them having access services at a later stage.1179728-leaflet-image
