"I was concerned about 2 pigmented plaques on my skin"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP to the Dermatology Clinic in Barnstaple in the 2 week wait Skin Cancer Clinic. I was contacted within a few days and had an appointment made at the clinic 2 weeks after visiting my GP. I was very worried and glad to be seen so promptly. I was visually and dermoscopically examined and quickly told that the lesions were non cancerous. The staff and doctor at the clinic were kind , caring and efficient and explained everything to me very well, for which I was very grateful.

Dear homamrf54,

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent use of our Dermatology service. I am pleased to hear you were seen within the two week window of seeing your GP.

It is nice to hear you felt the team were kind, caring and efficient and that you felt they explained everything well. Great to hear the areas were non cancerous.

Kind regards

Alicia
