"I gained a lot of knowledge from the group"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Gosport

(as a service user),

Family footprints - I started this group with nothing but an open mind.

The first couple of sessions were getting used to everyone and sharing experiences.

I felt comfortable in the group with the size and the people I was working with and was able to open up.

The group really taught me about how to be present within my emotions and in describing the way I feel aloud.

We have focused on the ways addiction can effect children in many ways and this has made me open my eyes to a lot of new techniques and ways of coping and improving.

I used the breathing technique I learned in the group the day I had my driving test and I feel this worked really well in helping me to pass last week and I felt amazing that I achieved me goal and pushed myself and will continue to do so.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on Family footprints - it sounds like you have gained a lot from completing this course, I will certainly share this with the facilitators. Congratulations on passing your driving test and using the techniques that you have learnt to cope with different experiences.
