I notified the reception team in person my usual pharmacy are now unable to get hold of one of my repeat medication. I was told they would try other pharmacy’s and get back to me, they didn’t. Went in again and was told they would send a message to the doctor. Still nothing. I went in again and they sent it to the pharmacist. Still nothing so spoke to the doctor, still nothing. Eventually after around 8 weeks I get a call saying I need a medical review with the pharmacist but they only have appointments on a Wednesday. I can’t do a Wednesday for over 6 weeks so that means I’ve ran out off my medication. This I find absolutely disgusting especially after the length of time from when I first notified them. The practices at this surgery is ridiculous. I do understand how busy the doctor is but their not the only person who works full time. Not everyone can change their rotas at the drop of a hat either.
