"My recent review gave me a boost"

About: Community Services / Orthopaedic Choice

(as the patient),

I have been a nurse all my life and even at the age of 68 still do some part time nursing. All the lifting I did as a young nurse, pre-hoists, caused my back problems but I soldier on living with chronic pain which I manage with meds and meditation.

I also keep as active as possible with a young dog that needs lots of walking. My recent review gave me a boost. Despite my determination I was hoping there might still be a miracle cure waiting for me.

Following my assessment and consultation with the wonderful practitioner I felt a new sense of acceptance and strength to carry on despite everything. Orthopaedic choice is a marvellous service and it would be tragic to lose it.
