"My daughters diagnosis of craniosynostosis"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Paediatric surgery ( Wards 3A & 3B)

(as a parent/guardian),

The day before my daughter’s 1st birthday we attended an appointment with the Craniofacial team at Glasgow children hospital . We where told during this appointment that she had sagittal craniosynostosis , and would need surgery to correct this.

At the time it was like our world had come to an end, our tiny baby girl needing surgery on her skull to reshape it was unimaginable . The support and advice we received during this appointment and continuously through out from the Craniofacial team was amazing.

I can not thank them enough for everything and will be forever grateful.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such wonderful feedback regarding your daughter's recent diagnosis and treatment here at the RHC in Glasgow.

I am delighted to read that the support you received from our team was so positive and that you felt so supported. We are extremely grateful for your kind words. I will ensure and pass this feedback to the team.

I hope your daughter is well and recovering. Thank you so much again.
