(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with a severely arthritic hip just before Christmas 2023. Mr Rambani and his team advised and urgent total hip replacement asap.

I was a little apprehensive about such a major procedure, but I was reassured that it was the way to go to improve my future quality of life .

I was admitted for my surgery in March 2024.

All the staff at Grantham surgical unit were great but I would like to single out Nurses Hannah and Daisy who looked after me from admission to discharge. They were the ultimate professionals and were always there to help, when it was required.

I am still following my rehab programme, but I hope to be up and about, pain free soon.

Well done NHS!
