"The care I received from this group"

About: Intermediate and Transitional Care / Community Rehabilitation Team

(as the patient),

I was discharged from meadowlands rehab centre in Musgrave Park hospital after falling and breaking my right hip in Dec 2023.

The care started immediately that day and was kind and sympathetic while gently correcting my actions if I was rushing or being at risk.

All the carers were cheerful and optimistic when I found progress with my numb foot was so slow, particularly Patrick. His patience and encouragement and demonstration of the exercises I needed to do, was excellent.

Hi quebecdz37,

It is lovely to hear your positive experience post hospital and following your hip fracture.

As the manager of the Community Rehabilitation Service, it brightens my day to hear that you found the staff to be cheerful and helpful during your recovery.

I will make sure to pass your kind words on to the whole team and, in particular, Patrick.

I wish you well in your continued recovery.

Best wishes,
Lucy Jordan
