I recently went to see this practice about an ongoing condition and was seen to by a student doctor who was actually very nice. But I did not know that they can't prescribe medication until actual doctor signs it off. Was a chore going backwards and forwards to pharmacy and reception to chase up my medication. On my second visit to student doctor about my ongoing condition I asked for a fit note for my work as they had requested it. Again the student doctor cannot issue this and has to be requested on the Holbrook's health site to be assessed by an actual doctor.
I requested the fit note last Thursday and told it would be 48 hrs till I had a call or message. Still hadn't heard anything by Monday night so phoned to see what's going on. Then it took 5 mins for whoever I spoke to, to find it on the system. I was told it would be ready tomorrow (not so funny but tomorrow never comes) as it is now over 96 hrs and I'm still waiting for a call or message. I have had to return to work even though I am still not right because they going to stop my money as I still haven't produced a sick note.
I am sick of phoning and going to the practice to chase them up for something that I requested per their own system. Obviously this system does not work. Very bad experience indeed.
