About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I came in with a tear in my lateral meniscus. I have had the surgery today sadly I had to have it removed as there wasn't much left of it.

Can I just say that the whole team have been brilliant everyone is so caring and kind. All of the nurses have been so attentive and Kirsty the nurse that was assigned to me. Thank you so much Kirsty.

My Doctor that carried out my surgery I can't thank him enough, I know it can't be easy to tell someone that the outcome will not be great.

Thank you to all of the team for everything you all do everyday.

I am sorry to hear about your injury. It must have been a worrying time for you, especially when hearing the bad news that it had to be removed. I am so pleased that the staff were very attentive and that the doctor who broke the news to you did so in an compassionate manner.
