About: Adult community health services / Musculoskeletal physiotherapy service

(as a service user),

I received excellent care from the community physiotherapy team during my long recovery from a fractured femur and arm following a fall and subsequent infection in my artificial knee.

Rachel was caring and patient. Her encouragement and support (and her exercise regime of course) resulted in me beginning to walk with just a stick after 10 months in a long leg cast and splints. She was understanding of my other issues and the need to protect my other joints.

I felt very reassured that I was in safe, caring hands and she was always available when I needed help or advice.

I Have many years of experience with respects to rehabilitation, mostly in another part of the UK, but can say that his was definitely some of the best treatment I have received

This is a joy to read, and I would like to thank you for taking the time and trouble to write this. It will mean a lot, not only to Rachel, but her therapy team, as they all support each other. I wish you an ongoing recovery and hope that you can achieve all that you wish in everyday life despite having been through such challenging adversity.
