"Excellent treatment"

About: Royal Surrey County Hospital

Staff v helpful and efficient and understanding. I was admitted unexpectedly. I waited hours (as everyone else) did. However I am 80+ and sitting on extremely hard chairs in a tight space is unpleasant. I had my first drip sitting on a chair in a corridor(unpleasant). Staff in emergency ward overnight excellent. Bathroom was a disgrace (sorry) nowhere to put anything but the floor. Nothing to hand for a shower (ie hooks on door several steps away on a concrete floor and I am unsteady on my feet) 3rd world sad to say. Discharge pharmacist was brilliant. Enabled me to see my husband who brought me emergency night clothes to the entrance to outside steps to avoid him (84) walking too far from where he had parked in the road.. Not your fault I know but nevertheless an unpleasant experience for him without the help of

the phharmacist
