"Unacceptable waiting times"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Ten hours waiting time in A&E just not acceptable, I understand there are staff shortages and they do their best but clearly can across that staff demotivated and this leads to a bad patient experience. Such a bad experience.

Our Emergency Departments continue to see high numbers of patients which as a result, many of our patients are having to waiting longer than we would like to be seen. I fully acknowledge that this does not make for a positive experience.

I am really sorry for such a negative experience and that you were waiting a considerable amount of time.

We are doing everything we can to improve the situation and actions are underway to help improve the experiences of our patients.

I have shared your feedback with the team.
