"Prenatal Health Visitors"

About: Children’s Services / HENRY programme Community Midwifery Services / Community Infant Breastfeeding service

(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to give some feedback about the amazing support I have had within the last year after having my 1st baby, from my health visitor Maeve  and family friend Roisin (Strabane). They have been so kind and reassuring. Always listened to any concerns I had and offered support above and beyond. Thank you Maeve and Roisin.

Thank you to Wendy and Hayley for the baby massage one to one at home also.

I have completed the 5 week Henry programme with Emma health visitor assistant. Emma is a credit to WHSCT, such a positive, kind and encouraging person. She has helped me gain so much confidence in myself as a 1st time mum. She has been so supportive with our weaning journey. I can't recommend her enough to new mums, the programme itself is excellent but more importantly it is being delivered by such an amazing person. I have no doubt Emma will go far in her career within the WHSCT. Thank you Emma, we will miss seeing you and your bright smile every Thursday.

Hi Mum and Baby

Thank you so very much for taking time out of your day to write such a detailed story. Myself and my colleagues appreciate your kind comments. I am glad that you have felt so supported by your health visitors, they are wonderful colleagues also. I have passed on your thanks to Hayley and Wendy also.

Being a new mum can be so overwhelming at times, I am delighted that I was part of your journey. Both you and your family have a very bright future ahead. The HENRY Programme is a lovely universal Programme, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to deliver it with you.

Thank you very much for your kind compliments, Emma.

HI Mum and baby,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback on the Henry programme & wider Health visiting team. Becoming a parent can be an overwhelming time for all of us, as such, it is imperative professionals listen and support us in a caring manner.

I am delighted you have had such a positive experience and will be sure to share this feedback with our wonderful team.

At HENRY we support the whole family to make positive lifestyle changes, creating healthier and happier home environments, and building healthier communities.

Congratulations on completing the HENRY programme & best wishes from the Henry team.

Kind regards,

Sinead McDaid.

Mumandbaby, thank you for taking the time to give feedback about the support you received, I am delighted that you felt well supported, listened to and reassured by Maeve, Roisin, Emma and Wendy. Being a first time mum is wonderful but can be overwhelming so I am glad that you feel more confident following Emma’s visits.

All the staff within the HV team are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and expertise with families and it is so encouraging to have such lovely positive feedback, thank you again for taking the time to do so. This feedback has been shared with them.

Hopefully you can continue to use their tips and advice as your little one grows and I wish your family well.

Kind regards,

Joyce McKittrick
