Colonoscopy at the beginning of January and within less than two weeks I'd had a scan and was seen by Mr Obinwa. Within a month I was in for my operation.
During my 5 night stay I saw Mr Obinwa on 4 separate occasions - he was superb. Ward D7 were excellent during my stay.
In May I started my chemotherapy treatment under Dr Jain and he, along with Louise, Amy and the rest of the staff were superb.
I was fortunate to be able to have my bloods and Colonoscopy at Cannock, which was a great help.
The only downside was a trip to A&E where, with the exception of triage, a nurse practitioner and the doctor, there appeared to be a total lack of enthusiasm and motivation - too much socialising and ambling about. I'd had a visit to an other A&E the day before and the difference was unbelievable.
