I was picked up at 3 am by Ambulance and not taken into the VHK until 6am I had a long wait.
I did not find out that I had a Stroke until the Saturday afternoon after I had a scan. Everything was explained clearly to myself and my family.
I was moved onto Letham Ward Cameron Hospital to continue with my Rehabilitation.
I have no complaints about this ward at all, maybe the floors and bathroom need done up.
My bed is comfortable and I am nice and warm. The staff are funny and good I can ask them for anything.
Therapies I have received on the ward are Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Physio has been really good and Chris and Carolyn both know their jobs.
Everything is explained to me clearly.
I do not enjoy the food too much, the staff always ask if they can get me something else. There is always tea, coffee juice , milk and biscuits available for patients .
Overall the care in Letham is very good.
