"The staff were fantastic"

About: Lymington New Forest Hospital / Radiology

(as the patient),

I recently had a procedure for kidney cancer and had received a letter saying that something had been found in my last CT scan and I was at risk. I wasn’t sure what this was about and it brought back the fear of the cancer.

I had the scan and the staff were fantastic, including the trainees in the room. They put me at ease and explained everything about this being a separate study and how the results would get back to me.

I feel very calm after the help I received. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback. We really do appreciate this and I am glad that we were able to help alleviate any fears you may have had. It makes me happy to know you felt cared, supported and informed through the scan. I think this is very important in patient care and my team have the same ethos. I do agree we need something to look at on our very plain and dull ceiling. I will see what we can do....

Best wishes to you
