"Iron Infusion"

About: Torrington Hospital

(as a relative),

My mum  had to have an iron infusion at Torrington District Hospital recently and was very anxious about the whole process but the moment she met the staff at this amazing little hospital, she was assured and felt safe.

The care, compassion and kindness of the 3 staff , Kathy, Antonia and Karen who dealt with mum for the duration of her visit was above and beyond what you would dream to expect from the NHS.

They were so attentive  kindly offering both mum and myself tea and biscuits several times whilst we were there for the two hours .

I did overhear one of them say that they hadn’t had time for a break today but despite this they remained cheerful and focused.

Because of how lovely they were to mum, I asked them for their names as both my mum and I feel they really are real life angels and a great asset to the NHS and the amazing little community hospital so thank you!
