"Helped me through step by step"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had an endoscopy planned for March 2024, I had already failed this once and was so scared and worried that I wouldn't be able to complete the test and needed this done to find out what was wrong.

I had a lovely Nurse practitioner Audrey, who spoke to me before hand and assured me i would be able to do it this time.

Her two nurses that were in the room where so helpful and calmed me down and talked to me through out the procedure and made it feel so much more comfortable and less nervous.

Managed to complete the full procedure with no issues and its all down to the staff at the Ayr Endoscopy suite and especially Audrey who knew how scared i was and totally relaxed me and helped me step by step through the full procedure .

The time, care and patience they took with me was amazing and i cant thank them enough for getting me through it so i could get my diagnosis and start my treatment.
