"It's horrible to be treated as if you're ignorant"

About: Bedfordshire Community Health Services / Rare Neurological Conditions Specialist Nurses

(as a service user),

My contact has been via the Parkinson's' Disease nurse service. I'm visited at intervals by the nurse.

I think it's a horrible service, and it's not helpful. It says they're offering support and information but I have had no information and the support was patronising. It's horrible to be treated as if you're ignorant.

I want to stop them from coming.

Thank you for taking the time to post, I am very sorry to read of your experience regarding the Parkinson's Service. The level of service detailed falls below our expectations and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you in more detail.

If you would be happy to do so please can you email elft.quality-bchs@nhs.net with your contact details so that we may call you to discuss further?

I have in the meantime shared your feedback with the Parkinson's Service Lead.

Many thanks,

Kiran Paul
