I was recently sent to Admissions unit 2 by my GP. Although every one was busy and it took hours to be seen, I just want to thank everyone who interacted with me.
I want to say a huge thank you to the Nurse Practitioner who was absolutely incredible, I think her name was Karen. She was so busy but spent so much time with me, listening, helping, supporting and was so reassuring. I want to say your kindness blew me away and I felt heard and listened to.
You then spoke with consultant (Kirsty) who then came to see me and her approach and the fact she looked at previous notes and scans to diagnose me blew me away - I felt such relief as I had been admitted before (a number of times) with the same pain but before had been dismissed and treated like I was an annoyance.
Thank you also to the two nurses, I think they were called Hannah and Michelle- they were so so busy but very caring- thank you! You were all amazing and anyone who has the pleasure to be under your care is very fortunate as your approach to all you came into contact with, not just me was lovely. Yes it was so busy but your approach to the day was first class and I couldn't not write in to say thank you!
