My daughter was having day surgery mid March 2024 at ward 1A Royal Children's Hospital.
I wanted to say what great care she had from start to finish it all went very smoothly.
I want to thank all the nursing staff particularly the nurse in the theatre and the anaesthetist who were so good with her when she was feeling scared and anxious. Dr Murphy the Surgeon for his expertise. Additionally Louise the Play Therapist for putting my daughter at ease with distracting activities prior to surgery which helped greatly and she really enjoyed.
Also wanted to thank Joanne the Paediatric Secretary for her help prior to the procedure, she couldn't have been more helpful.
