My mother was taken by ambulance to A&E, at first received very good treatment then after a shift change she was practically ignored by the nurse whose station was right by my mothers bed, she was humiliated by her in the most disgusting ways once I left. There was no care or kindness at all, my mother was very elderly and not one to make a fuss. If you need to go there in an emergency try to have someone stay with you all the time, some nurses just cant be bothered. A&E wasn't exceptionally busy at the time so there was no excuse!

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your mother’s experience of care in the ED at Wexham Park in January.

Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of the Trust for the apparent failures of care in relation to your mother. I am sorry that, on this occasion, we failed to deliver the standards of care we strive to.

I will share your feedback with the ED team at Wexham who will use your mother’s story to improve the standards of care they deliver.
