"Removal of ingrown toenails"

About: Dundee Community Podiatry

(as the patient),

I had 3 toenails removed due to them being ingrown, I should have done it with 2 appointments instead of getting them all done at once. 2 on left foot, 1 on right. I have struggled to walk, struggled to put on slippers and cannot walk about my house with them open due to having a cat. If anyone needs to have both feet done, I'd suggest only getting 1 foot done at a time. I used a walking stick and walking with my toes bandaged feels awkward and painful. But they are healing slowly.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on our nail surgery service. I am sorry to hear that your experience has not been a positive one. We generally find that most people prefer to have one appointment if both feet are requiring surgery. However, I can appreciate this has not been the case for yourself. I hope that your toes continue to heal, albeit slowly. If you are experiencing any problems please do not hesitate to contact the department and one of our members of staff will be more that happy to help you.
