My husband attended the Neurology department level 2B for a test to see why he has lost feeling in his fingers as the consultant feels he might need a carpel tunnel operation.
His appointment was in the morning and we arrived ten minutes early, a nurse named Lesley introduced herself and asked for his letter. He was then led to an examination room for the test which took about 10-15 minutes.
We would like to thank Lesley for her welcoming and friendly approach to us both, her promptness in starting the examination and her professionalism during the examination, putting my husband at ease during it and explaining the process in detail.
We then made our way to the canteen and were impressed by the range and choice of foods available and also how the staff were efficient on running the canteen, another thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the canteen and how well organised it was with everything available from cutlery to condiments.
I work in Altnagelvin hospital and feel there are a few tips the canteen staff could take from the Royal canteen to have it running to the same standard. The food was delicious! We were very impressed. Thank you for a lovely experience.
