About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Cannock Chase hospital this year for elected surgery. Surgery was to remove a hip pin and plate from 2021 when I broke my hip after a fall.

I received excellent care during my surgery and afterwards on the ward. The nurses, doctors,  physiotherapist, and occupational therapist were very caring and helpful. I needed a blood transfusion and was kept informed at every stage. 

Was given information as to who to contact when I was discharged if I needed help.
