I went yesterday for an IUD fitting at Queen Margaret sexual health clinic, and I can't even express how wonderful Dr Daryanani and the nurse assisting were. I have vaginismus and struggle with the pain of the IUD insertion due to the random tightening, but they were so lovely, patient and supportive.

It was incredibly tough to successfully insert the IUD, but after 2 attempts they got it in. They were so caring and attentive, and even telling me how proud I should be of myself for enduring it and not giving up. I honestly couldn't ask for a better team. If it wasn't for them I don't think I would have managed it. They absolutely went above and beyond for me and I will be forever grateful.

I am sorry to hear that you suffer from vaginismus and understand how difficult this can be, particularly when undergoing an intimate examination or procedure. I am very pleased to hear that my colleagues were able to support you with patience and compassion and that this contributed to a successful outcome for you.
