About: Endoscopy Unit / Vanguard Endoscopy Unit General Surgery / Colorectal Surgery (Ward 10) General Surgery / General Surgery (Ward 7 & 8)

(as the patient),

I was recently discharged after a 2 week stay in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

I was admitted to ward 7 where I stayed 2 days and moved to ward 10 for the remainder of my treatment.

I can only commend the care, attention and treatment I received in both wards and the Endoscopy unit.  The staff worked so hard despite often being short handed.  They all worked together in their various teams, ensuring patients were completely cared for in a professional and compassionate manner.  To me their friendliness stands out.

Yes, there are lots of faults in our NHS but my experience tells me that it's the staff who see you through.

Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to all staff involved in my care.
