"Staff were professional and very caring"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cataract Unit

(as the patient),

I had a cataract in my left eye removed at Queen Margaret’s Hospital Dunfermline . The consultant and nursing staff were professional and very caring. Great job, thanks. Only thing is to ensure all patients are advised in appointment letter that they should be accompanied to get back home.

Dear Freuchie,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I wish you well in your recovery. I have shared your concerns with the secretarial team regarding the admission letter and the information on having someone to accompany the patient home and they have advised that this is usually contained within the information however it has been cascaded to the full secretarial team.

Many thanks

Stacey Arnott
