About: Manor Field Surgery

After having an allergic reaction to medication a month ago and being told to stop taking them and to take antihistamines. Still having ongoing problems, reached out to a couple of pharmacists and both advised seeing gp, attempted to get an appointment via the new app, only one available 2 weeks time, rang 111 yesterday and after 3 different calls still came to the conclusion of speaking to the gp as they would be able to pescribe over the phone. Called this morning and the reception was lovely and very understanding of my situation and arranged for a doctor to call me at some point later in the day. I had my phone with me all day at work and took it out of my pocket to check if I’d had a missed call and it began to ring. Before I had chance to even press answer it ended. It must have rung for a couple of seconds. I rang back immediately to be told I’d missed my appointment and the doctor had let it ring for a minute and a half.. which is an absolute lie!! It only rings for 24 seconds before it goes to the answer machine!! I’m already frustrated as I feel like I’m getting thrown from pillow to post, I have an upcoming operation that I have waited almost two years for and needed it sorting before then. To then be lied to is absolutely disgusting, when I know full well it didn’t even ring for five seconds! I then receive a text message to tell me to stop taking the medication and to take antihistamines which is the same advice as a month ago? Which I have done and is clearly not working.
