"Unfit for service"

About: Stoke Road Practice

I have a kidney transplant and one of the medications I take as a side effects where it damages your skin, making you more susceptible to skin cancer. Every year I’m referred by the renal department at the hospital to the dermatologist to make sure that my skin is healthy. I recently moved to the Willowgroup who are refusing to refer me to the dermatologist. I don’t understand why this GP feels that they should keep gatekeep one specialist department from sending me to another specialist department. It’s organisations like this that are killing the NHS.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention, I know this can be difficult and we do value all feedback.

I am very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service that we are providing.

For obvious reasons we cannot respond to individual cases on NHS Choices, but if you would like to discuss this further please contact my team on hiowicb-hsi.mywillowexperience@nhs.net with your full name and date of birth and we will be happy to look into this for you.

Again we are sorry that you are unhappy with the service provided. I hope that you do make contact with our team to enable us to look into your concern further.

Yours faithfully,

Kevarnna Langridge
