My son, in his early 40s was rushed to the hospital via ambulance from Hemel walk-in centre. He was immediately admitted to the resus centre as he was very ill with pneumonia.
We couldn't fault the care he received. Intravenous antibiotics plus an oxygen mask had a wonderful effect. His grey pallor gradually returned to his normal skin tone.
I would also like to mention their care of my daughter May 2023. Having been in another hospital where they dismissed her condition, and a private hospital where the useless Doctor refused to admit she needed an urgent scan, the Watford team was first class after she was admitted by ambulance. A scan revealed a growth in her bowel which was removed the following day by the second excellent team. The growth was cancerous, she was referred to the excellent onconolgy team. After treatment at Mt Vernon, she is slowly recovering from her traumatic experience.
Well Done Watford!!
Your staff deserve every penny they can get from this penny pinching government.
"Amazing Care"
