I was treated with care and dignity at all times and everything was explained twice.
Unfortunately I could not tolerate the procedure, even though I have had this done before as it was so awfully painful even with gas & air, it had to be stopped after just a few minutes but the staff were incredibly kind, compassionate, and understanding of my needs, and the Dr performing the procedure was brilliant and understood why I had to stop.
However, I was rather worried to see someone had written on my red wristband and on the notes that I was allergic to Nsaids, but was ok to have Opiates, and its the other way round. Quite an important mistake to make which could have meant a very different outcome.
Also on my paperwork someone had written my pain score reply as 2 out of 4, and mild, it was in fact a 4 out of 4, and absolute agony
"Double edged sword."
