"The standard of care is exceptional"

About: Birmingham Hospice - Selly Park / Inpatient unit

(as a relative),

Dad came into St Marys hospice and we was told there was a very high chance he could pass away on transfer. Dad was in alot of pain, he was unable to eat, drink and even use the toilet.

Within a few days of being here my dad's pain eased. He finally looked at peace.

After 10 days he was eating, drinking, using the bathroom, even walking around again. He is a new man!

The staff are amazing! I can't thank them all enough. The standard of care is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble.

We was told twice to say goodbye to dad but the hospice have worked their magic and has gave us more precious time to spend with him.

We as a family are so grateful.

Thank you so very much to every single staff member, you are all amazing.
