(as a service user),

I recently attended Wishaw General Hospital because I was having chest pain. I was triaged by Annie and Hayley and then seated back in the waiting area. Both of these nurses were excellent and had a lovely manner. I felt the wait afterwards was very long. I was then well looked after by a Nurse Xavi and Dr Mariyam who were fantastic. I feel I was treated with care and compassion. I cannot fault anything other than the waiting times. Thank you to all involved. I am very grateful for your kindness.

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Emergency Department.

I am sorry to hear that you had to attend due to chest pains. This must have been a very worrying time and I am so pleased that you experienced excellent care from Annie and Hayley as well as Drs Xavi and Mariyam. Their support, manner and compassion must have been very reassuring for you. I am however, sorry to hear about the long waiting times. As you will know, the NHS is under pressure but we are doing our best to see patients as quickly as possible.

I look forward to passing on your kind words to all the staff mentioned. I am sure they will get a real boost from hearing your feedback.
