"My recent hernia surgery"

I recently had my Hernia Operation done at the day surgery of  "Queen Margaret Hospital" Dunfermline.

I'd just like to say a thank you to all the staff involved, from the trainees to the surgeons involved for their professional expertise and conduct, all were very knowledgeable and knew what they had to do.

What stood out was their willingness to interact and take the time to listen to me and exchange stories, concerning the procedure, work in general and family life at home.

Considering the restrictions on the NHS across Britain, their enthusiasm was abundantly very obvious that they wanted to provide a professional service.

But what is not seen by the majority is, the staff don't just go home after their shift, to rest!  They have to pick up where they left off, building a sustainable, happy, and safe environment for themselves, partners and children.
