"Bereavement therapy"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Salford bereavement therapy service

(as the patient),

Was a bit unsure about going at first as i wasn't sure how it would help me but thought I would give it a go. When I met my therapist she was very welcoming and friendly, made me feel at ease and relaxed. Once we got talking I couldn't stop, it just all came blurting out.

I never realised how much I had stored up inside me and pushed to one side. I talked about things I've never talked about before or even thought about. I found I really looked forward to our sessions and things that bothered me or I was upset about i would keep stored up till I knew I could let it out and felt I was in a safe place where I wouldn't get judged. Made me feel so much better when I walked out the door, to release everything then carry on with my day till next time.

Sad when our sessions came to an end but was given information about where I could go for further help if I needed it. Would recommend anyone who needs it to go, it could change your outlook on life and help you so much. As they say you don't know till you give it a try.
