"Give the patient more dignity and time to listen"

About: Amersham Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I recently visited the Dermatology dept for a potential cancerous lesion on my leg.

I have had a stroke and I am slow at undressing and need a seat with armrests to facilitate this. I had to undress in front of the doctor who was talking to me all the time.

I understand that each consultation is allocated 20mins. This is the time I take to dress and undress. It would be better if the patient was given privacy and time to undress before the appt.

It would give the patient more dignity and also time to listen to the doctor.
