"Disastrous Practice"

About: Central Surgery - Southchurch Blvd

We joined the Practice in 2022 after moving from London to Southend-on-Sea. The older Receptionists always took their time to attend to me - sometimes ignored me while continuing a causal conversation with another member of staff. The younger members of the Team were always polite and efficient. The Practice Manager did not respond to phone calls or emails.

I saw every Doctor in the Practice for a review of my prescription and some items which were important were removed without discussion or assessing the need for the medication. One Doctor even asked me to bring him letters from a Hospital appointment in 1972. Every visit was distressing, decisions made at the appointment were never followed up, a Health Check was not completed and we were advised that one would be done in 5 years and appointments were difficult to get. During a face to face with a Doctor and during a discussion about medication I was told my time was up. No one checked on my very recent torn tendon in my right ankle or my shoulder injury. I left every appointment feeling worried and upset about my health, what might the consequences be and feeling let down by all the Doctors in the Surgery.

How can this be possible?
