About: The Broadway Surgery

Cannot understand why it is so difficult to get a blood test. I appreciate that the hospital which performed my thyroidectomy over 1 month ago has not sent my discharge letter, but I have supplied my patient discharge letter and am now requesting a blood test to check my T levels and am told it is not possible until I have had a conversation with my GP. This would, infact, be welcome at this point, as since early November when I had an urgent referral from the out of hours GP I was sent to because I could not get an appointment with my GP, and following my surgery, which my GP was informed of and the subsequent 5 weeks recovery I have yet to have any conversations with my GP at all. Am waiting, in hopeful anticipation, of some sort of contact.

I am very sorry to hear this and would like to discuss with you.

When it is anonymous and important it is very worrying.

Please accept my apologies and perhaps try to call and ask to speak to me?

Regards,

Practice manager
