My second experience of the dermatology unit, which has resulted in another Melanoma diagnosis. (Last one 1999 followed by 5 years follow up checks and thankfully no extra treatment required).
On this latest referral . I have nothing but very high praise for Dr Erdal and his team, Emma, Charlotte and Sarah. (Unfortunately I do not have the names of the first team he led back in January...equally attentive and caring )
A second procedure was required to try and ensure all vestiges had been removed. Throughout, all the stages have been explained in detail and sympathetically communicated.
Indeed all my contact with this department of the NHS has proved to be efficient and effective from day one - from the receptionist, call backs from the nurses to the teams mentioned above. Dr Erdal is friendly and put me at ease. Full marks to you all.
