"The most kind-hearted soul I’ve ever come across"

I was hesitant to give birth in Doncaster Hospital after having a very inpatient midwife when I delivered my son, but I’m so glad I did.

I want to say a massive thank you to my midwife Chelsea, who delivered my baby girl safely into this word.

My baby was born in face presentation, I didn’t think it was a big deal, but doing my own research and seeing all the what if’s has changed my mind. Chelsea is the most kind-hearted soul I’ve ever come across, she is so calm, collected and reassuring, you can tell she does really care for her patients.

Chelsea went on to tell me she’s never seen a baby born vaginally face first before and how rare it is, so I hope she remembers me as one of her firsts because we will always remember her and her kindness and I want her to know that her kindness doesn’t go unnoticed and I’m very grateful for her.

If I could go back I wouldn’t have picked anyone else to be there, I can’t wait for my daughter to grow up and tell her about the kind-hearted women who helped bring her into this world.

I hope this can get back to Chelsea to show her what a good impact she’s had on our lives by her small kind gestures, thank you 🙏❤️
