"Colonoscopy procedure"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

Arranged for a follow up colonoscopy at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

The whole process went exceptionally well, from arriving to park the car (there were lots of spaces available). Once entering the hospital there was hardly anyone in the hospital which made the arriving and registering a stress free process. Have never seen a hospital so quiet.

All the staff I met explained things clearly and were very pleasant. All in all a great experience before and after what I expected to be a dreaded procedure.

Dear Alisg98

Thank you so much for taking time to feedback about your visit to the Regional Endoscopy Unit. I was delighted to read that your journey with us was so positive, from parking the car which is everyone's nightmare to discharge.

And that due to the staff giving you a clear explanation throughout your journey made it more pleasant and stress free. Any invasive procedure can be quite daunting and I believe that when you are made welcome and everyone is knowledgeable when you ask questions it takes away the apprehension and makes the complete journey more pleasant

I will pass on your very kind comments to the team, wishing you a speedy recovery

Kindest regards

Ann Walker SCN
