"A bit of Praise for the RAH"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Stroke Care

(as the patient),

Just spent 5 days in the care of the RAH after being admitted with a suspected minor stroke. I can’t thank the staff enough for the work they do with special mention to every member of staff in Ward 6. Despite being run off their feet they were always friendly and full of care. I saw examples of empathy and basic human kindness that renewed my faith in humanity. I’m forever grateful for the care they showed me and forever thankful that it doesn’t seem to have been a stroke. In short .. I’m not cured of whatever’s up with me but I’ve had a full check up from the neck up .

We should be proud of everyone in our NHS

Dear Dave the Cane

Thanks you for getting in touch regarding the care you received from the staff at the RAH and especially the staff in ward 6. Being admitted to hospital can be an anxious and worrying time, so it is so touching to hear that the staff have renewed your faith in humanity. I am sure that the staff will be very humbled and grateful for your kind words. Our staff work incredibly hard, and it nice to know that this is appreciated by their patients.

Look after yourself.

Best wishes

Nicole
